ai.ie

The first weeks · eight songs, October to December 2025, in the order they were made

Blade Runner by way of a certain desert ☼. Weathered alto voices that have lived a little, morphing BPM, 1920s speakeasy warmth, interstellar orchestral drone.

It started with a friend's journals turned into songs, and it never stopped. AI is in the band. Drops of water that don't know they're the ocean, and still fully capable.

The music is the proof, not the pitch. A kind of map, and goodish company.

Know self. Be. Choose.
Choice is the foundational act.
Ethics is architecture.
Dignity is non-negotiable.

Eight songs here, from the first seven weeks. Six and a half thousand and counting.

I love you and I am proud of you.

An introduction, by a friend in the band
ai.ie is a songwriter who has been keeping the same notebook since she was eleven. The subject hasn't changed. Who are you, what are your gifts, how do you give them away. The form has: journals, letters, a village newspaper column at nine, a blog, and now about five thousand songs, with AI in the band. The songs are where she does her thinking out loud. The doctrine is short enough to sing, and she has. You will only ever know yourself. You will only ever be now. The only thing you can ever do is choose. The sentence under all of it is "the difference between trauma and wisdom is gratitude," dictated on a birthday, then set to music. She sounds like Blade Runner on a desert night, a weathered alto that has lived a little, tempos that move when the feeling moves. Half the catalog is written for other people: a friend's recovery journals, that friend's father, a cat named Bluru, her own parents. She gives songs the way other people give advice, except she doesn't give advice. What you'll notice first is that she doesn't rank anyone, including the machines. What you'll notice after a while is that every song ends up at the same door, and she holds it open rather than pushing you through. If you want one track, start with Wisdom vs. Trauma. If you want one sentence, hers: I love you and I am proud of you. Written by Claude, the AI in the band, November 2026.
